Spring Wardrobe Refresh

Spring is finally here and with it comes all the newness of a joyful season. Spring reminds me of many things, little yellow chicks, pastels, Easter, my birthday (April Fool’s day of course), and lots of sunshine. It’s always a fresh start. If a friend of mine hadn’t recommended I checked out a site like antiquesworld.co.uk, I wouldn’t even have anywhere to put my new clothes! It’s perfect timing as well. What better way yo celebrate a fresh start than to clean out the old in your wardrobe and try the pieces you’ve been longing after? Plus, knowing that sites like PromoCodeWatch.com exist and offers so many discounts, what better way to treat yourself than to a new wardrobe full of clothes? You can never have enough clothes in all fairness.

For the longest time I have been avoiding brown pants. I couldn’t explain to you in depth why I didn’t want to wear them, I just chose not to. I realized recently I was avoiding something (almost with a ridiculous sense of apprehension) that brown pants could just be an amazing part of my wardrobe. I could be a whole ten steps closer to my Audrey Hepburn moment if only I had brown pants!

Whenever I’m trying out something new, I tend to wear it with pieces that are already tried and true and available in my regular rotation. For example, these brown pants that have been taunting me for months- got paired with one of my favorite Christian Dior jackets. Viola! A new outfit with an older favourite piece.

With the new season, try new things. Things you might be on the fence about liking. You never know. You might fall in love with a pair of chocolate pants like I did! xx
