For my bachelorette, I told my MOH (Maid of Honor) that all I wanted was sand. I wanted to be on the beach somewhere. We didn’t have to go to Miami, or the Bahamas, I just really wanted to hear the ocean. So me and four of my girls went to Tybee Island, Savannah Georgia. I would say so far it’s been one of the most memorable experiences of my wedding process thus far!
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I actually celebrated last night with Bren. We went out to Raclette – you know that video where a wheel of cheese is melted onto a plate of food? Yes that place! It was MAGICAL. I came home to a lot of flowers and a little treat from my favourite lingerie shop (La Petite Coquet) … What were your plans for V- day? OR, if you’re not currently taken, singles awareness day!
Either way I hope you spread lots of love or get cozy with a cashmere sweater today. <3
with love, Belle
For many years now, the wedding dress has always been in my mind- the dress. It’s the dress you hope your grandchildren admire in tastestfully framed photos lining your mantle. It’s an embodiment of love, and a symbol of utter joy to most. Tossing in these very iconic ideologies on bridal gowns, AND someone who works with couture fashion everyday and you have a recipe for a lot of fittings. View Full Post
Getting Married at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral!
Hello everyone!! It feels like a lifetime ago that I posted and a lot of you have been wondering where in the world I’ve wandered off to this time. Well as most of you know I’m getting married to my sweet Bren-whom I’ve been with for 5 years now. I’ve been elbows deep in color swatches, work, bridal magazines, and more. I should add that during this whole time I’ve had a smile plastered on my face.
I have several updates for everyone. View Full Post
The day that Brendan proposed, he told me to make sure I wore something nice. I didn’t know we were going to a palace but I was excited to see what I could pull together to go to one. Bren has in the past told me to wear something nice specifically because he knew I would want pictures. I really took more time than usual to pick this outfit.
When traveling it’s essential to pack things you can wear more than once, such as a coat, a hat, sunglasses. Many tourists think they have to sacrifice style for comfort. This is not the case! I wore a white cotton off the shoulder top, warm wool coat, pants and chiffon pants.
I was so pleased to see that my outfit seemed to even mimic the colors of the flowers in the garden.
France was surprisingly chilly but once the sun peeked out it was finally warm enough to go without a jacket.
I felt really good in this outfit and I even felt glamorous. This might be one of my favorite looks ever. The best part was that none of it was planned!
