Living in New York, I often make the joke that anyone that lives here needs therapy. The constant bustle (that I love), competition, life, and general anxieties- they all add up! Anxiety tends to be heightened here just like everything else, and I guess with being one of the most famous cities in the world there comes a pressure to live up to how you should be making the most of it when living here. I often turn to CBD to help calm me down when I’m feeling particularly stressed out by it all. I use high quality products so I don’t have to worry about any risks; I just enjoy the peace of mind it gives me every once in a while. This has got me thinking about the self care tips that I use all the time and throwing a next level bath might just be the self care you need to try. View Full Post

It’s a beautiful day in Manhattan and today I went out and did what most New Yorkers do on Sunday afternoon. I went to brunch. While I know this is a topic I’ve already discussed in some detail I have a few new things to add.

Going to brunch is an occasion (life is an occasion isn’t it?) and that means it’s time to get dressed up. Pick comfortable clothing that you won’t feel embarrassed to be seen in. I tend to run into someone the minute I’m not put together.

Another way you can tie a look together is tossing on a hat. It’s one of my favourite ways to get dressed up fast.

*Brunch tip- when you finally pick a place to go to brunch, pay attention to what everyone else is ordering. If you see a common plate that most people are getting, order it too! It’s popular for a reason.

Favourite Outift in Paris

This was by far my favourite outfit I wore while in Paris. I wore this the night Brendan proposed to me, we tried to go to a fancy high rise for dinner but they didn’t accept reservations and we were starving. We ended up going to a small diner that served Italian food and we were extremely over dressed.

It was so fun to get to wear this giant skirt while out in Paris. I was asked by lots of French where it came from. My good friend Holly made this specifically for my trip to Paris! You can order one from her here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/247455592/flirty-tulle-skirt-customize-your-color

Although we didn’t go to a super fancy dinner like most couples do when they get engaged, I love that we went to a diner in great clothes because it was so much more relaxed and I still felt like a million bucks.

Anjelina Jolie is killing it in this undone Saint Laurent suit.
Her style is so effortless. As I am typing this I am thinking I should wear better pants.
